Workplace Giving

High Impact, Low Cost & Simple - Workplace Giving is the smart way for you to give

Employees make regular small donations to a charity directly from their pre-tax salary.

The Power Of Workplace Giving

Pre-tax giving means...

If you give...
$12.60
Fair Game will receive...
$20*
Many employers are happy to match staff donations, so that would make it...
$40
In one year, because of your monthly contributions Fair Game would receive nearly...
$500
But it will only
cost you...
$150
If 9 of your colleagues join you in workplace giving that turns into...
$5000

*Amount varies dependent on personal ATO tax bracket.

$5000 allows us to deliver:

  • a piece of sports equipment
  • a fitness session
  • a health session and
  • a healthy bodies back pack
to
100 Children
 in remote communities in Australia.

For Employees

Simple

Donations are recorded on your payslips and tax deductions are automatic. Workplace giving does not affect your superannuation and payroll tax calculations. It reduces your PAYG liability but doesn’t decrease your gross income and there is no need to scrabble round for donation receipts come tax time.

Effective

Work place giving is tax effective for you as you receive an immediate tax benefit instead of having to wait until the end of financial year.

And

It’s effective for Fair Game as it provides a stable, low cost form of funding allowing us to commit to long term programs and increasing our impact.

BE A WORKPLACE GIVING CHAMPION

Fair Game is looking for Champions to bring Workplace Giving to their organisations.

We can offer you lots of support to get the program started including: attending meetings with your company’s executives to introduce them to Fair Game’s work and explain the process of setting up a WPG program; helping you launch the program to maximise opt in; providing posters for your office and content for your social media platforms.  Once the WPG program is up and running we will provide you with updates and pictures of the impact your organisation’s contributions have made to the communities we work in.

Your employer may choose to issue the funds directly to Fair Game or use an external workplace giving platform.

Fair Game is registered to receive workplace giving funds via the Good2Give community platform. If your employer currently uses a different platform we would be happy to consider registering with them.

Workplacegivingaustralia.org.au is an excellent source of information on all aspects of WPG including featuring case studies of successful WPG programs from companies including Seek, JB HiFi.
