John is a West Australian who has dedicated his life to creating healthy communities. Whilst working full-time as an emergency and primary care doctor John leads a range of innovative programs improving the lives of thousands of people. Growing up in Perth John completed his undergraduate studies at UWA and the University Bristol.
Working in the remote Pilbara region John saw first hand the effects of lifestyle related illness on our under-serviced populations and founded Fair Game. John has also played a key role in a number of other innovative programs including an international HIV fundraiser, urban think-tank, sub-cultural city guide and an online health blog. John’s research and work in Emergency Medicine has taken him across the globe gathering significant leadership experience in Washington DC, London, Timor Leste, Tajikistan, Honduras and Zambia.
John continues to lead Fair Game alongside his board position on Volunteering WA and other commitments as a fitness instructor.
